Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and October 20th is mammography day. Early detection can save lives.

All eligible women are encouraged to schedule a comprehensive exam as soon as possible and ask your doctor about breast cancer screening.

The  Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP) offers free breast exams and mammograms to uninsured and underinsured women. The program also supports diagnostic services and assists with referrals for treatment options.

Don’t wait, schedule your breast cancer screening.
